  1. If only I had faith the BBC wasn’t a complete joke. It’s presenters are hopeless and biased and they seem to think that objectivity means ‘all views are equal’ they are not. You wouldn’t give the same credence to the view that for example ‘muslims are second class citizens’ as to the view that says ‘all people are equally deserving of respect and dignity’.

    • Hold the phone wayne, as despite what you say (not judging) the so-called mandatory UJ signup if it goes ahead threatens their very existence as you take away that and what do they really do that would justify such a raise. Government have made it perfectly clear that their not listening to no one and openly and often attack those that do raise valied points in regards to welfare fullstop let alone other polices their desperate to push through before the public twig as like i have said in the past, onced finalized and enacted, how many ever get reversed. Take the work programme, does it differ much from labours FND.

Remember the basis for governments argument is that their are those on benefit who shall we say are making a career out of it, yet still to this very date cannot produce or wont, any evidence to substantiate this being anything proportional.

Also they have stated for instance that the WP has infact got thousands into work yet i doubt they checked the taxes for all that did to substantiate that in fact this is very true as how many went self employed, how many just signed off without any employment for instance let alone the periods of employment involved.

Lets face it that untill government are forced to back up every claim that comes from their mouths that we will all suffer no matter the topic or policy.

    • I hope you report it to say the guardian as they are quite into mudding todays government on their polices but hit them all anyway and for all listening do the same as its quite easy to produce a story and send it to them all at once (one single send), imagine if everyone did it,are you feeling me, i hope so. Oh dont forget a link to here and other like minded sites to thrown in for good measure.

      I will just say this

The government is elected by the people to serve the people (all UK citizens irrespective of any democratic process).

Its time to close this door on the labour scapegoat so dont argue is it enough, argue does or will it work, will these cuts simply redirect costs in relation to taxpayers when considering the health service and law enforcement and the penal system.

  5. I seriously hope despite opinions towards the BBC that you all still make a comment to them but please do so via email as this provides a clear path of evidence as for all we know this could be for the purposes of government as we all know that IDSs plans are well, to put it politely crap and ineffectual.

Now its easy for say me to argue as i only draw JSA and without any proper residence (ie no tenancy agreement) do find it extremely hard and although i havent been to the doctors yet believe i am beginning to suffer from malnutrition. This said most who do draw benefits on average get their RESPECTIVE JSA/ESA along with housing benefit and council tax benefit.

With this in mind along with other benefits if say a parent do bare in mind the question being asked which is when focused on “Is it possible to survive on the monies supplyed”.

So when we talk food, dont start out with a healthy dietary shopping list ok, start with how cheap you can possibly make it so yes i am talking cheap unhealthy food. This way you cover that arguement which will no doubt be brought forward by IDS with such remarks towards so-called snobbery. Also you could go further on this first point as what are the negatives towards such a diet (ie what baring will this have on the health service for one). Then you can enter the BUT arguement of how much less overall this cost would be towards services such as health if funds were such that a healthy diet was a factor in JSA/ESA benefits calculation if at all it ever was.

On the housing benefit front do please point out the fact that government do intend to push this bed tax as its called onto the private housing sector to or should i say the rules are such that this can be done if choosen which in all likely hood will be the case in the future providing the now one doesnt blow up in their face to a point that the public will notice.

This isnt a lesson, i and im sure you all only want to get across the real facts, the damning facts that will end the rule that is IDS.

If so, then I dare say that you will be interested in interviewing me, on air, about the issues that really matter to people – government grants to help build home extensions, for instance. If you are interested – and why wouldn’t you be? – then please reply to this comment, my people can talk to your people, and we can get the ball rolling. 8. Issues to highlight:

    1) That there is never a breakdown of what JSA is supposed to be able to buy you: e.g. V allocated for purposes of your jobsearch. W for travel, X amount for food, Y for bills, Z for replacing worn out clothing.

Inflation has been savage in recent years and JSA increases have not kept up at all. The long term unemployed frequently eke out a miserable existence whilst being constantly told how worthless they are every time they apply for a job (or read a tabloid).

Attempts to force the DWP to actually cost survival on JSA get rebuffed, presumably because they know perfectly well JSA is already far too low.

    2) Sanctions and hardship payments. If they closed your claim it would be a criminal offence under EU law, so they opt for giving you even less money while technically keeping your claim open. In my & others’ view this is a human rights violation and in violation of the government’s social contract with its citizens. Sanctioned individuals often end up living on the charity and goodwill of friends and family, which is not good for their relationships and can be seen as a particularly nasty form of stealth taxation on those they know. How many of the youngsters forced *ahem* to volunteer under the recently publicised workfare scheme who ‘came off benefits’ (did they GET JOBS Mr IDS?) are now living purely at their parents’ expense and neither showing up as unemployed in official statistics nor receiving help in getting their first job?

    3) Local housing allowance – Housing benefit is capped allegedly at 70% of the market rate. for one thing this 70% appears to be fictitious and in addition people on HB cannot simply up sticks and move somewhere cheaper as they have no way to get deposit money together. Many people find themselves having to pay out substantial amounts towards their rent from their JSA or face eviction, compounding the problem of inadequate JSA.

    4) People made redundant or fired are often tied into fixed term contracts- TV licence/cable subscription, telephone/mobile. broadband connection, gym membership etc. These can easily tie up massive amounts of benefit money but are not in any way costed for in the amounts allocated. The unemployed are left in a very awkward position where they cannot terminate these agreements without making themselves open to debt collection proceedings and county court judgements.

    5) Many people will point to the lack of a savings culture today and say that people should be saving more in order to deal with times that they are out of work. However living costs and especially housing costs have increased far above the rate of salary inflation for decades. There is research that shows that the average earner cannot save for a ‘rainy day’ as their parents and grandparents did because their disposable income is virtually non-existent by comparison.

I’m sure other people will think of some other issues.

    • It would be embarrassing for the Government to break down JSA into its constituent components. According to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation it costs over £50 a week for a single person to feed themselves. Inflation is rampant (especially in food (despite of what the Bank of England may tell you) and with JSA increases being pegged at 1% for at least the next three years jobseekers are really going to suffer.

  12. first let me say we have a bunch of millionaire mps supposedly running the country when in fact they are a bunch of thieving scum .Hundreds of them were caught fiddling thier expenses and if they paid it back they was not prosecuted and kept thier £100,000 a year jobs-now if i had stolen from my employer i would have been prosecuted and most probably jailed and certaintly would not have kept my job .Just goes to prove thier is one law for mps and a different one for the normal man in the street. . Secondly my benefits ( employment and support allowance and disability living allowance) have been frozen for the next 3 years with just a 1% rise each year for the next 3 years -yet i just read on bbc1 text news page that the Public and Commercial Services Union ARE STRIKING FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS STARTING ON BUDGET DAY 20th MARCH over pay and pensions ,the unions members who include JOBCENTRE,BENEFITS AND TAX WORKERS WANT A 5% PAY RISE OR £1,2000. Surely the goverment cannot give the most vunerable people on benefits a 1% rise for the next 3 years and then give thier own workers a 5% pay rise ?Having said that they gave themselfs a 10% tax cut .Thirdly i am giving my benefits (because i am ill and have ichemic heart disease,i had heart attack 5years ago and suffer from severe panic and anxiety attacks along with severe depression and am being treated by a mental health team ) because i now need to eat a special diet because of my heart disease and need help to get around ,yet from april 2013 the goverment expects me to pay towards my council tax ,this a joke when i am given my benefits because of my illnesses and the help i need because of my illness. As i see it this is a very unfair attack on the people in the most need in the uk ,the goverment has cut our benefits in real terms by imposing a 1% rise in our benefits for the next 3 years -but then gave all the rich millionaire mps a 10% tax cut -IS THIS WHAT DAVID CAMERON MEANS WHEN HE SAYS WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER ,its a pisstake thats what it is attacking the most vunerable in society (unemployed, sick, homeless and disabled people)to fund tax cuts for the RICH FAT CAT MPS.And lastly the dreaded bedroom tax -i believe this has been bought in to free up houses so the border agency can house all the Romanians who will shortly be flooding into this country, most people have a spare bedroom because thier housing association does not have enough 1 bedroom properties-and the lack of 1 bedroom properties goes back to when maggie thatcher sold off all the council properties and no more properties was built to replace all those that she had sold.

Now this thread is about an approach from silverriver productions under the guise of the BBC. Well i had to ring this production company direct as i fail to believe that an organisation would fund what im affraid to say IS A BASIC ARITHMETIC QUESTION.

Why ask us, why not pull the data and employ the aid of a competent mathematician ?

Now the company do back both this Alex and Stef as free lance workers and that the phone prefixes are such as their on location (where or on what is unknown). I didnt ask this next question but i do find it suspect that both these freelancers have failed to announce their full names as after all if it is what it is then what is their to fear. Heres hoping their listening as some clarity would be much appreciated even if stated in confidence via email.

So that being the case and that i suspect that i wasnt the only one to ring as the lady that answered was a little too prepared for my line of questioning will have to wait and see if they reply to my email and others.

Youve got to understand how tired the unemployed, the sick, disabled, young, etc are at these constant mistruths spread by government. The biggest insult is that its the same trick used for every dodgy policy they have passed and will pass yet the public remain cluless to it all. 18. You are right Gissajob – the Newsnight production on Welfare Reform last night was biased from the outset.

You can always tell. They announced first that a whole third of taxes are spent on welfare, so it is clear from the beginning that they are appealing to disgruntled taxpayers.

It is only later on that it is revealed that almost half of the total welfare bill is spent on pensions rather than workshy layabouts. Then it is said that most people on benefits – especially Housing Benefit – are actually working, and eventually someone says briefly, so briefly that you could be forgiven for missing it, that only a tiny fraction of the total bill is spent on Jobseekers Allowance.

At least someone managed to add very briefly in the studio discussion that Housing Benefit goes to Landlords rather than tenants.

The wider public are easily duped by propaganda about the benefits culture of booze and fags and wide-screen TVs and exotic holidays – so it will be interesting to see how this new report from silver river will tackle that.

I suspect opinions aired via TV will change nothing – perhaps it will take the homeless littering the streets due to evictions and the subsequent deaths from hypothermia and malnutrition to convince people that benefits are not too high. People are already dying, but who cares anyway?

      From their website:”Silver River is a place…where taking a

  19. Meanwhile, back to the so-called Bedroom Tax…

Now a Housing Association in Liverpool is taking to sending “legalese” letters to its tenants asking them to sign a bedroom tax disclaimer, which warns that legal action will be taken if tenants don’t pay their rent as a result of the bedroom tax! Here are the details:

    http://www.insidehousing.co.uk/tenancies/tenants-asked-to-sign-bedroom-tax-disclaimer/6526054.article

Presumably, we will then have scenes like the one depicted in the following drawing which was first sent in the other day by “Annos”:

    • Also off-topic:- Could these new benefit/social welfare rules be desigined as a ”one-size fits all policy”! This for when the Romanians and Bulgarians are allowed free movement of travel next year {2014}. After all what Government of any political persuassion would want too be seen as being ”racially discriminate” so close to a General Election. It will only be 18 months away by then after all.

“Universal Jobmatch will be a key performance enabler in terms of making
sure benefit is only paid to claimants who are entitled to receive it.”

In other words, UJ is a big sanctions tool!

As previous posts have said, could by siging into UJ, you could be classed as ”signing on”. This would negate the regular visit to JCP to sign on. Thus enforced use of UJ would be a daily requirement to keep benefits ?.

      • Poor Old Tired Horse:

        pay attention to Chapter 3
Issuing a Jobseeker’s Direction to mandate JSA claimants to
create a profile and public CV in Universal Jobmatch
        51. Where you have explained the benefits to claimants of creating a profile
and public CV in Universal Jobmatch and they will not do so willingly, they
can be mandated to create a profile and public CV.

        52. However, for legal reasons, you cannot issue a Jobseeker’s Direction to
mandate a claimant to create a profile and public CV unless a DWP IAD
service is reasonably available to them should they need to use one – for
example, because they do not want to accept cookies and therefore need
to have access to a device on which cookies have already been accepted.

        53. You also cannot issue a Jobseeker’s Direction to mandate a claimant to
give us access to their account – this is their decision not ours.

        and

        Actively Seeking Employment

        82. We cannot specify to a JSA claimant how they provide us with records of
their jobsearch activity and Universal Jobmatch will not change this.

    • Hi Obi Wan

You might remember another post on this site regarding the UJ site and that at the time i did cover this very topic as regards media/medium (ie, in this case for jobseekers, the way you present your jobseeking evidence be it paper, digital, photo, etc).

Their is no law fullstop that states how one produces material as the argument is simple, no one media is anymore or less effective than the other.
This doesnt mean however that it covers the argument as regards to whether or not one should sign up to UJ or not,it only covers how as i said YOU PRESENT YOUR EVIDENCE.

Its also worth mentioning at this point that the very fitting of non-cookie systems in centres is governments vale answer to the cookie argument so i suggest any using it stop ok.
The argument is simply that you wish to enact your rights under the privacy article 8/human rights and DP act/s and say no more. I HOPE ALL UNDERSTAND WHAT I HAVE JUST SAID OK.

From this point on the advisor would have to demonstrate this to be unlawful before administering any DIRECTION OR SANCTION. Remember when i said about asking them what 122C and D of the SS act,how they dont know or use law correctly. Well whats good for the goose is good for the gander RIGHT.

Now i personally havent signed up so if someone has could you state whether it allows you the ability to edit your details at anytime and or close the account their and then (takes a day to clear from IT system) meaning within 24 hours notice?

One last thing,if anyone hasnt read my posts on this site under the very UJ post by Mr coates then i would suggest so as i did also point out how to combat their searches as you now have proof that it will all be done electronically. Another security trick i didnt add was get into the practice of entering random symbols inbetween words on your CV (ie Ho#nest, reli#able or #honest#,#reliable#). You could even enter random symbols into the spaces (ie Honest+reliable#individual-whos#goal).

Are you feeling me people as you could go even further and actually put code inbetween which is funny as you can get it to command the word program used like say MS office to do all sorts of things. I could be even worse and do it to the very SQL servers of the UJ site but im saving that for now.

Well its nice chatting and i hope this helps so without further a do, may i wish you all a pleasant weekend.

      • Hey Gaia:

I’ve been through this with others and totally agree with you – it seems the DWP are purposefully trying to make the understanding of this mega unclear (ie. set the trap and they will fall into it).

There are people on sites such as this if given the opportunity could bring fair order to the DWP, but and here’s the catch:

IDS, Hoban and Freud don’t want that, you see they have already spent that much of taxpayers money that this UJM and Work Programme – (and in their eyes) it has to suck – ceed (sorry that was a bit lowbrow, but true)

Of course any intelligent person can quite clearly see that both are a lost cause and should be shut down straight away with no further cost to the hard working taxpayer of which I used to be one and hope to be again.

    • For Obi Wan Kenobi

Paragraph 82 used to be paragraph 52 in the old version – but at least it is still included in the new version of the UJ Toolkit!

Yes, I agree that the inclusion of paragraph 82 makes it sound as though registration and subsequent use of Universal Jobmatch would not be mandatory or even necessary, but pointing that out might not work in everyday practice at Jobcentres where personnel tend to get away with their own interpretation and application of the rules- with few people able to make a serious challenge.

      Tobanem

      March 9, 2013 at 1:46 pm

      • Even if they mandate you to register, it would all be pretty pointless if they can’t access your account and specify how individual Jobseekers present details of their jobsearch activity.

There’s an awful lot of other paragraphs though!!!

        Tobanem

        March 9, 2013 at 1:53 pm

      • Tobanem:

As you say it’s pointless and P82 just backs that up – don’t worry about the other paragraph’s – 82 should over-ride them all.

      • Quite a few non-British/EU/Other people are on my work programme and all are expected to jobsearch, even if they don’t speak English, can’t fill in a form, don’t know how to apply. Poor guys! It’s tricky enough if you speak English! There was a Romany lady next to me in the jobcentre looking at jobs, and the JCP morons had earlier picked out a building job (she’s my height or even shorter!) for her at the desk, and told me to be a cleaner (a job she could possibly be able to do). As well as me being unable to stand up all day, allergic to the products etc, there was a slight snag in their direction: the job was for a woman cleaner, had to be a woman, because it involves being around women who are naked or using the shower or the toilet. It appeared to be the only ‘recent job’ in the area that she could have done. She left later, in apparent disgust at the useless jobpoint machines. My local heroine of the week! I think the government wants to sanction people
by ordering them to apply for the most impossible jobs for
them, matching them to the least suitable vacancy. Then they sanction you for not applying, not being allowed to apply,
or for applying but not getting the job. They can say you
are not trying hard enough. I don’t know if it is still on there,
but 2 days ago there was a vacancy for ‘Sammy Davis
Junior Impersonators’. As well as being an allround performer/
entertainer with experience and the relevant musical skills..
You have to be a black male of normal height, who looks and
sounds like Sammy Davis Junior. You also have to speak in the correct American accent all the time. (Maybe Michael Jackson was secretly on a work programme and under a direction to apply for a job as a Mick Jagger impersonator?)

I think I might just sign up IDS to this webshite, and apply him to a vacancy as a fluffer. That is somebody using hand/mouth etc. to keep the erection of male performers in
porn films between takes/scenes. A merkin tester would be good too (pubic wig). Sewage farm diver. Dog turd taster.
[at which point class action is started by the National Union of
Dog Turds, as a rebellion against the disgusting suggestion
that they be brought into proximity to the utterly vile IDS.]
Or I’d settle for them being trapped in their own terrible website forever.

Of course there are jobs for racists: they can work in the UK
Border Agency and…. oh this already happens.
Romania, Bulgaria and Poland are all in the EU, so there is
no reason to say people should not be here. WE go THERE.
Dzien dobry, Buna ziua, to all the people from the east of Europe who want to come and live in the UK. The UK started
off denying asylum to Jews who wanted to flee Europe because of the Nazis. Unfortunately the Nazis won in the long term and now they are trying to decide who gets to come into the UK. I’m a product of WW2 geography. Decent people
across Europe are trying to put an end to racism and fascism.
Turning people against eachother based on their nationality,
colour or origins, is exactly what the right wing wants. The screwups running all our governments are the ones to be against. So many languages are spoken in the UK now and that is something to be proud of, not worried about. We are on one planet, we only have one, do not have anywhere else we can go. It’s a small planet and humans could really fuck it up killing eachother over things like what colour you are or what you have on your passport. There are more important things to be doing. Like trying to clean up all our mess in the environment. What was it: “The people united will never be defeated”.

        something survived...

        March 11, 2013 at 2:25 pm

      • To both workshy and Obi wan

A while back the government came out with a stupid story about an immigrant family with 14 kids living in a million pound mansion. Like the curtain tail, the public went for it again like lambs to the slaughter. As your all aware now it was a rue and a particular racist one as thats exactly what they wanted, even the unemployed stating who should and who shouldnt be deserving of benefit.

Well if you didnt know or i never posted it here, the sum total of families irrespective of whether citizen or immigrant in the UK with 4 or more kids was at the time a mere 4% of 63.5 million people. Now had they had told a yearn about 3 kid familes,do you think the public would have been so supportive, do you think the government could have easily placed the housing cap either?

Trust me when i say, dont get involved in the immigrant debate period and i will tell you why.
Labour did a massive employment survey back in early 2000s and from its findings found that immigrants as opposed to UK citizens took most of all the fast turnover (people leaving and starting in large numbers ) jobs (retail, hospitality, care, etc). They also discovered and remember this was before the 2007 crash that the reason was that UK citizens when given choice of employment, always aimed high and why not when work is plenty.

In pre 2007, no one was asking for an NVQ in retail and the likes i mentioned, they had so many vacancies and were so desparate you either only had to look like you could do it or be with an agency and it was yours. Naturally with UK citizens enjoying good choosen employment, that meant most at agencies or looking for such were infact immigrants. I could cite company after company during pre 2007 hiring immigrants that couldnt even speak english or very little. Since 2007 that has changed drastically with employers now using language as an excuse to hire english speaking people only (choice pot of 2.5 million people seeking work).

So when everything was fine, when we all were doing the work we UK citizens wanted, the government couldnt get enough of immigrants so as to increase their revenue yet where is it all now.

What im saying is your very own UK employers asked government for support in the fast turnover sectors and they obliged so both are soley responsible for the numbers, not the immigrants, their just the victims.

Its a myth thats as bigger lie as you and i hiding behind curtains, dont allow this government to blame Labour either as i dont really remember any significant moment where the tories jumped up before the 2007 crash to complain about immigrant workers numbers.

They know they messed up big time in the past (both labour and tory),they know more immigrants coming will absolutely wreak their plans as regards health and wealthfare and are desperate to reverse it by making a racist out of all of us just so they dont look one and the public are playing right into their hands.

If anything i would strongly insist on backing the immigrants if i was you all but het thats your choice.

      • Like i said Obi Wan the government wanted an english vs immigrant argument, they even wanted the unemployed to turn on them as look at workshy, zero creditable evidence presented yet he/she rants like an NF speech.

Workshy posted again which i knew they would, like i knew theyed come without a shred of evidence to give the slightest credence to their argument. The best they had was a mate on the council housing list which ive been on for over 3 decades but the truth is i dont get a house because of immigrants, its because families and sick people come first and that everytime another one comes forward, i get pushed back more, thats how the system works. As for government giving immigrants council housing from a taxpayers point of view is far cheaper than giving them private housing.

Oh for the record if your paying attention workshy, immigrant figures were half what they are now 2 decades ago, their was a mass council property selloff with insufficient rebuilds to replace the dwindling stock, the renting market was unattractive when compared to morgages so the renting culture even in the private sector sunk.

I see he stopped short of explaining why the government want them all in one place then and again you fail to see the taxpayers saving here when compared to private housing costs.
Im sorry as i am trying to see your point but a disjointed argument between the now figures and social and economic climate canout be connected to such situations over 2 decades ago that were and are clearly different.

Put it this way Workshy, You allow this government argument to continue with support and your find the human rights act gone and as soon as that happens you and i will become the immigrants, except the home grown kind, the choice is yours sir.

  45. A darknet is an anonymizing network where connections are made only between trusted peers — sometimes called “friends” (F2F)[1] — using non-standard protocols and ports.

Darknets are distinct from other distributed P2P networks as sharing is anonymous (that is, IP addresses are not publicly shared), and therefore users can communicate with little fear of governmental or corporate interference.[2]

For this reason, Darknets are often associated with dissident political communications and illegal activities. More generally, the term “darknet” can be used to describe all non-commercial sites on the Internet,[3] or to refer to all “underground” web communications and technologies, most commonly those associated with illegal activity or dissent.[2]

Normally i would say dont speak to them but none the less this is a platform to get the point across but and this is a big but,be careful what you say as regardless of how genuwine this ex-engineer was as i suspect the piece didnt come out as he would have liked.

Put it this way, had he not had mentioned not taking any job (not judging) , do you think the ending part with locals calling for blood would have been effective to persuade others that the cuts are merited.Lets face it that i doubt he was the only unemployed person they spoke to.

      • Having been watching the BBC news section on benefits in the morning every day I willw ait till Friday to comment in full.

But one thing that strieks me, it’s as if everybody is entitled to have an opinion on how people on benefits should live their lives, how much money we should get, and how we should be punished.

I have opinions on what other people do, but I am not able to tell them because it is ‘their’ money we have on benefits.

Well, if they don;t want to give us any money I am quite happy to go and take it from anybody who wants to order me how to live my life.

I’m sure that with no money plenty of other people who were on benefits will also be willing to go out and simply take other people’s property and money.

If that happens those lecturing us won’t have much say on what we do.

They can of course fling us all in prison – at about ten times the cost of paying benefits.

        March 13, 2013 at 4:32 pm

      • Sorry about this post going here Mr Coates and Workshy but their wasnt a reply mark on either of your posts.

I hear you both as you smash a glass of water, the liquid still has to run somewhere but as im sure we all agree what with the slippery nature of current government that when we state the obvious we must still be careful in how we say it as their merely turn tact and label the unemployed thugs hell bent on being dissident at the cost of taxpayers.

For example, just because your unemployed doesnt mean you arent a taxpayer irrespective of whether or not you have contributed, it merely means that currently you are not paying taxes (money) because you currently draw less money ( doesnt matter where it comes from) than your tax code which represents once a zero is added at the backend of it that you are infact below the taxable limit and nothing more. Just like a pension you pay into a pot, a pot that however isnt designed to sustain itself so you have the effect of one generation propping up another. The Work programme initial payment works the same way but as their is the risk that unemployment could be wiped out (wont be), they have to prop it up with those period incentives that once peter and paul are payed leaves i suspect a profit around 10 to 20 % or their abouts.

As for the day is yours but the nights are mine analogy its easier just to point out that its not in human nature to simply just starve, that people (never refer to yourself) would naturally turn to crime to feed themselves and that even if they didnt that we would see a rise in malnutrition each of which as you pointed out cost way,way more.

Dont think (have no idea how into politics, governance and economics you both are) that penal reform and security havent already been addressed as it has, even now their using that small young girls death (ironically just as obama is using the sandy cook incident to remove the second ammendment in the USA, but global facism without fences is another story, a very factual one actually) inorder to increase petty offences such as carrying a knife even if you never intend to use it.

Its all rather mute though as in the UK the knife is common solely because we unlike other countries arent a gun culture like say the USA. All will happen is that the weapon of choice will change to say a hairdressers comb (the one with the thin, long but blade like handle for instance or the professionals choice the pill or power. Ive been trained to kill decades ago, know how to hunt and have practiced martial arts for decades so believe me when i say you can blind a human forever with a simple everyday egg and you wouldnt believe what you can accomplish with a paper clip if you understand human physiology a bit. I wont even get started with what you can do with just your hands and fingers, the options are endless with the know how.

Lets face it that most of society believe law works and that by cranking it up that crime amongst other things will simply vanish yet if you met one of these people ask them to explain how despite much tougher sentancing abroad that crime still persists and that the criminal population is so large that most countries have to expand their prison system in terms of needing more buildings. If you remember it was also pushed here not so long ago so even in the UK its all getting crowded in our jails, like i tryed to outline to workshy, even people saying something on twitter are being locked up and despite being a waste of taxpayer money is just the pettiest crime is it not.

Now when all is said and done either 64% (democracy) of the UKs population is either definetly complicit in this treasonable act by current government or as i really suspect to lazy and to scared to want to hear the truth about who really serves who in this country.

Time to spread the good solid evidence like the government housing scam i posted a bit further down as its high time any who fight for their country and their people help to take off those rose coloured glasses and fill in those sand pits of this 64% as only then will we win back our land, our freedoms, our country.

Just remember you dont need a hammer to crack a nut and on that note see you all later.

  56. Shameless Department for Work and Pensions ministers admitted today they were considering new legislation to avoid paying out over its unlawful workfare scheme.

A Court of Appeal ruling last month found that the schemes – requiring claimants to do unpaid work experience or lose benefits – were unlawful due to the way the regulations were framed.

Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith insisted at the time that he had “no intention” of repaying benefits to anyone who lost out and he launched an appeal to the Supreme Court seeking to have the ruling overturned.

New regulations were set on the day of the court ruling to ensure that the DWP can continue threatening claimant’s benefits to coerce them to take part in schemes.

But the department confirmed it was considering its options in the case of defeat at the Supreme Court. It is believed defeat could prompt action from tens of thousands of claimants who have had their benefits docked, seeking millions of pounds in repayments.

A DWP spokesman said: “The Court of Appeal made it clear we can require people to take part in some of our schemes to help them back to work and to remove their benefit if they don’t.

“That’s why we are looking at options to protect hard-working taxpayers and make sure we won’t pay back money to people who didn’t do enough to look for work.”

And he confirmed one of the options being considered was to introduce legislation.

Shadow work and pensions secretary Liam Byrne said: “Bungling DWP ministers have turned the Work Programme into a West Coast Main Line-style fiasco. Hundreds of thousands of sanctions might now be illegal because Iain Duncan Smith messed up the regulations and now the taxpayer might be on the hook for over £100m.”

Boycott Workfare campaigner Joanna Long said: “The Court of Appeal judged that the DWP acted unlawfully when it sanctioned tens of thousands of people on workfare because people had no way of knowing what rules they were subject to.

“It beggars belief the DWP can contemplate retrospective legislation – more rules people would have had no way of knowing – to avoid paying some of the poorest in society the social security they are due.”

And she attacked Labour for appearing to support “the government’s unethical position.”

Boycott Workfare will target firms involved in the controversial scheme in a week of action starting on Monday.

    • I watch BBC parliament too and it was a sham as you can clearly see labour arent that determined in interest beyond gaining supporters as not once then or in the past have they asked for direct proof as to the figure of these people who dont wont to work. Labour even continued to support the sanctions system during this programme so it says it all doesnt it.

Government both past and present have failed to create a system that works and the new universal credit does no more than absolve them of their transgressions further.

This said merely means every move must be done with strategy as we all know we cant get government on TV to admit this hiding behind curtains is an unsubstantiated myth, nor will the press cover these obvious facts so its up to us to confront the unknowing taxpayers with points infact that cant be contested.By changing their views it will make any government comment mute. I do this everyday and the people are shocked at how very different the truth is in reality.

STATS USED ARE GOVERNMENTS STATS RECORDED NOV 2012

Take housing, according to government stats 5,050,400 million people claim housing benefit, thats a mere 8% of the total UK population which stands at around 63.5 million people.
That in terms of housing rent payouts amounting to £250 and above that only A mere 73’900 people actually claim this amount or should i say 0.125% of the total UK population. The highest amounts actually claimed are according to government stats is amounts between £50 to £100 and that 3’188’560 people are in receipt of this rent amount and all this is irrespective of how many rooms you have currently.

As we all know most claiming housing benefit are infact not in receipt of any benefits and that the total was for the entire UK was the following

35.72% claiming housing benefit are not in receipt of any passport benefit (ie, Income support,JSA,ESA and Pension credit).
20.39% claiming housing benefit are on pension credit.
18.46% claiming housing benefit are on income support meaning recently unemployed but not unemployed longer than 6 months.
13.43% claiming housing benefit are on ESA meaning they will never be able to work properly enough dew to recognised illnesses and handicaps so will always need government assistance.
11.94% claiming housing benefit are on JSA meaning unemployed longer than 6 months.

Now as much as government would like to tie all passported benefits together you cant and i will explain why. People on pension credit have payed into a system over decades and arent required naturally dew to retirement to work. People on ESA will like the fit and healthy never have a normal working career and as such will always require government assistance. People on income support have recently just become unemployed and as such have a better chance of finding employment within this first 6 months, economical climate willing.

So if we did group them for argument sake then we would as follows and i will explain why.
35.72% NOT ON ANY PASSPORT BENEFIT, has to remain by itself as no other group fits the mold.
33.82% ON PENSION CREDIT/ESA will always need taxpayer assistance as one is a life time contribution (pension) so payback and the other dew to the continual funding required dew to physical restrictions.
30.41% ON INCOME SUPPORT AND JSA which will naturally change as job climate improves but with current trends since 2008 suggests most will still need assistance with rent so will join the 35.72% non passported lot.

Now even without going on as believe me theirs tons more its not hard to see the tory plan.

Lets start with bedroom tax as its so-called, tories quoted that we are paying out far to much on state aided rent and that their are many familes desperate for larger housing.

According to stats 65.31% housing claimants are in either council housing or registered social housing (ie housing associations, etc) meaning in the case of council housing that 71.24% of their total housing stock is taken up by full paying renters requiring no housing benefit assistance and 61.56% of registered social housing stock taken up for the very same reason. This means both parties have inadequate stock so far as in housing anyone according to their family needs (human bodies).

So they need to get tentants out as i dont see them building currently and lets not forget WORKSHYs point regarding social housing being given to immigrants just arrived seeking citizenship which may or may not be a part of these figures (cannot say).
As the figures already prove their arent millions upon millions living in £250 plus housing but their is 3’188’560 living in £50 to £100 housing which at the very least (i suspect much higher but unsure currently) form the majority of this 65.31% taking up any of the two social housing sectors mentioned above as who else could afford to keep such a low rent.

As can be clearly seen government and registered social housing dont have the stock let alone any legal power to up root the remaining stock hence the bedroom tax excuse as how else can they claw back social property or that of the housing associations. They know many will default as thats the plan without making them look bad and if you dont default they know that your other benefits will subsidies their short fall thus lowering the deficit required before the end of the year.

SO TAKE WHAT I HAVE SAID AND THE LINK FOR EVIDENCE I WILL POST BELOW TO YOUR FRIENDS THAT DO WORK AND DRAW NO BENEFIT AND SEE WHAT THEY THINK OF WHAT THE TRUTH IS AFTER READING IT AND CHECKING THE EVIDENCE AS I CHANGE PEOPLES OPINIONS EVERYDAY BY USING SUCH CANT HIDE FACTS. Once you see the dramatic effect such information has your soon turn to the working public not drawing benefits and show them the same.

BEDROOM TAX, COUNCIL TAX, MONIES ARE BEING TAKEN OFF PEOPLE LEFT, RIGHT AND CENTRE, and the meagre amount people get is illegally being taken off them, my friend’s daughter was sanctioned and had her money taken off her because and I quote “you didn’t apply for every job available” now some jobs were managerial and she wasn’t qualified for it, so she ended up penniless and a 12-yr-old daughter and house to run. Suffice to say she applies for every job now, even if the job’s not suitable.
I don’t trust the BBC (I find them very elitist) nonetheless, you will shortly be reporting about riots, mass evictions and the courts will be heaving with non payment of bedroom tax, council tax, etc
Before you stand in judgement, let me ask you something…what can a mother do if all she has in her pocket after being paid benefits is money for food and nothing to pay the council tax etc??? she’s NOT deliberately NOT paying, this money she has to find and there’s a cut in benefit rises too. All I say is get ready for some of the biggest riots this countries ever seen and he (PM) can get the police to beat rioters up – like he recently did when a woman called him a murderer, but, masses will rise and I’m no prophet, I just know that you can only push people so far!!!!!!!!!!!

  96. Re the upcoming ”30 hour” jobsearch rule. My wpp said it’s going to happen. I aske about the HSA rule that only 2 hours should be spent in front of the screen. Was told that DWP are basing it on public library useage of 2 hours in front of a screen then a 15 minute break.
Told them library only allows 2 hours a day. Was then told would have too either plead with the library for the extra hours {Blame them for saying no if getting sanctioned}, or make arrangements to go into wpp for four hours and use theirs.

    • Everybody. Remember the recent news about ”prism”. Don’t forget that UJM is allegedly hosted in the USA by Monster.Com.
