1. Motive
Why Universal Jobmatch?
Universal Jobmatch is the revolution in the state-owned and run job service… over a decade later, HM Government through DWP has decided, (regardless of being in a recession) to spend tens of millions of pounds of taxpayers money revamping the old website, to include CV matching to help you find work by uploading a CV without the need to Actively Seek Employment…
Actually, despite the marketing hype, the actual motive is as follows:-
- Jobseeker Tracking. To track peoples jobseeking efforts.
- Benefit Fraud Resolution. Investigating people whose CV has a different employment history then the record Jobcentre Plus has. Meaning those who have lied on their CV to stand more of a chance getting work by extending employment periods (maybe by just a week or few) will be investigated for Benefit Fraud – put under surveillance and telephone bugged.
- Benefit Sanctioning. Universal Jobmatch has a very convenient feature where people can set themselves up for a sanction without knowing it. (Leave the feedback feature alone)
- Make jobseekers accept any jobs. DWP have removed specific location details (to a postcode district at a glance) and a precise postcode via Transport Direct so jobseekers could see if they could make it to work via public transport (if they don’t have a car/driving licence). Furthermore, working hours (and working patterns) have been replaced with just “Fulltime” and “Part time” – 30 hours or more being fulltime and less than 30 hours being part time. Fulltime indication is sufficient for many whereas part time could mean 29 hours or 2 hours, requiring jobseeker having to apply for the job to find out (i.e. they couldn’t turn down the job, if they later got offered it).
- Nanny State. Through Government Gateway, the Government wants to assign everyone a code, similar to a NI number… but by doing this they can claim it in itself doesn’t constitute “personal data” although will be linked to other relevant details such as NI number and NHS number… in addition to your name and address, and of course passport number and driving licence number (where applicable).
Universal Jobmatch happens to be the first major step implementation for the Universal Credit.

2. Cookies
Cookies… but with no milk… (the digital kind!)

What is a cookie?
Cookies are usually small text files, given ID tags that are stored on your computer’s browser directory or program data subfolders. Cookies are created when you use your browser to visit a website that uses cookies to keep track of your movements within the site, help you resume where you left off, remember your registered login, theme selection, preferences, and other customization functions.The website stores a corresponding file (with same ID tag) to the one they set in your browser and in this file they can track and keep information on your movements within the site and any information you may have voluntarily given while visiting the website, such as email address.
The two main types of cookies are session based and persistent cookies. Universal Jobmatch uses more of the latter type of cookies which in a nutshell means the cookies remain on your computer after you close your web browser – duration can vary, whereas session based cookies get deleted.
Although you are free to delete the cookies manually after each session, this defeats the object. The cookie served its purpose in that session and the data would be stored on the server – likely in a database. Thus each time you visit and do this, the server can obtain anonymised data and make assumptions from your input (such as postcode or location) and the invisible data your computer sends to the website which includes IP address, town name (through geolocation technology, usually by IP address), hostname, browser, operating system and screen size.
i.e. ~ (just an example) ~
Session 1… a cookie created with the ID 04564893 tracks your browser throughout your job searching … your IP 123.456.789.123 postcode AB98 1YZ job retail … you delete

this cookieYour IP, postcode and job types are the same… there is the history pattern-based link. If you have a dynamic IP address (i.e. it changes) then its more difficult to track. However, a jobseeker using the site twice a week, allowing cookies then deleting manually at end of the session, is likely to build up an unobvious profile by a few months time.
How this is a BIG problem
Cookies on Universal Jobmatch are issued and assigned to your computer even when you are not logged in to track your whereabouts and actions. When you do log in this data can then be attributed to your account – despite such computer usage not necessarily being by you (such as public computers in internet cafes and family computers shared between the family). Some cookies are assigned for 120 months (10 years)!
When we tested the site… without logging in… we got 15 cookies… (thats around 75% of the maximum permitted cookies a single website domain may have) and this is without any preferences options being changed (i.e. larger font sizes etc.) So not a single cookie was necessary for a quick anonymous job search… indeed it wasn’t anonymous at all!
The assigned codes to track you can be compared to say… your National Insurance number, NHS number, Government Gateway ID number, passport number, credit card number, car registration numberplate (assuming you are registered owner), membership number or a user ID. By itself it doesn’t say anything to confirm who you are… but this is unique to you and assigned to your personal data. Thus for instance when searched in a database can reveal all information about you known and stored for such purpose. Many people will compare this to human DNA… being unique to the particular person.
In addition they use semi-personal tracking techniques… this is data like your full post code. This is less able to identify you… but not exactly rocket science… i.e. how many jobseekers who live in AB12 3CD, are registered unemployed, looking for this particular kind of work, uses this web browser, and has this same IP? Oh its probably Dave who registered 5 months ago and logged in last week… has the same IP and lives in the same postcode…. Yes, its not a certainty but its more probable than not to reveal either a direct match or a few people maximum… should be called Universal JobseekerMatch. This just goes to show that this data would be assumed and could quite simply be incorrect, giving the wrong person a benefit sanction, for example.
Universal Jobmatch uses Server Sessions, VIEWSTATE (previous search data carried over from one page to the next) and Cookies. There is nothing stopping a unique cookie tracking identifier being assigned retrospectively to previously obtained data through Server Sessions (from browser/IP data to activity data) and of course vice versa.

4. Monster
Who (under)developed the website
Monster (Monster Worldwide Inc and its internationally subsidies) is a commercial “job search engine” with just over $1 billion of revenue in 2011.
It may initially sound a safe bet and sensible to choose Monster… after all they are a large business with vast experience, however, in 2007 in less than 2 weeks Monster lost millions of customer data due to numerous data leaks. In 2009, the UK based site monster.co.uk was hacked and 4.5 million peoples data was stolen. These led to tens of thousands of cases of ID theft and phishing attacks to fraudulently obtain bank details to steal money.
I don’t know about you, but I would say that the next data leak/hack is overdue… now the Government owned website… is more of a political target for hackers to do the same.

5. Universal Jobmatch
Getting to grips with the interface
*** We recommend you simply to use another job search website… seriously. ***
Location, Location, Location… where though exactly?
The first issue is the location details. What once was “LOCATION LOCATION AB12” is now the nearest biggest place.
Notice how many jobs are in London? (Just a part of one page) Its a rather big place… has good transport links… but even so!
Part Time or Fulltime
There is no specific show of hours or work patterns. Fulltime is 30 hours or more. Part Time is 1-29 hours.
Part Time work can be a problem… (the salary is a give away on this one, although incorrect)
Is it 29 hours?
You should be so lucky! Its only 6 hours per week. Most job adverts wont state the duration, so consider yourself lucky (most you have to “Apply” just to enquire) and don’t….
Sanctions
Do not “select”, do not press “Submit”… otherwise, do not pass Go and do not collect £200!
This is to sanction you. A human will NOT decide your case. Its automated. You can appeal but you will lose your money first.

6. Privacy concerns
What happens to your CV and collected data
Its not yet known the specific ins and outs of what data is collected, how its stored and who sees it.
What we do know is too much information is being requested and tracking (serverside and clientside – cookies) is being undertaken.
We also know the terms and conditions disclaim them from blame of any hack of your data (not good for confidence) and says they reserve the right to sell the data should they sell their company.
The Universal Jobmatch site violates the EU Cookie law. They have attempted to comply with an “accept cookies” notice which when clicked goes to their Privacy Policy, whereas thereafter they have your consent for the tracking cookies… but we received all cookies before even clicking the link on that notice, and without attempting to hide or remove the warning. Besides the notice even tricks people into giving consent simply to find out more information…

7. Sanctions
Lose your only income for complying with Jobcentre Plus requests
Sad, but true.. most JSA claimants are very submissive and just do whatever Jobcentre Plus directs them to do without thinking twice. They just want to jump through the hoops to get their sole income source and focus on jobsearching!
Jobcentre Plus is now requesting jobseekers to kindly give feedback as to why they never applied.
Brilliant idea to give feedback for employers to improve their job adverts in the future and for Jobcentre Plus to improve their quality of employers and job advertisements.
But wait… this web form is connected up to an automated sanction doubt system… Giving feedback could cost your benefits!!

8. Benefit Fraud
False allegations and investigations
Its the 21st Century, more jobs than ever request a CV (typically digitally) than Application Forms, and unemployment is so very high… many people chasing the same jobs.
Soo… some jobseekers are going to fudge and pad their CV. Converting that 9 month job and 6 month unemployment to 12 month job and 3 months gap. Changing that “Shop Assistant” job title to “Assistant Manager” because despite the low pay, you regularly covered for the manager more times than not and was a key-holder.
Hold on a minute… this doesn’t match Jobcentre Plus records… if you are lucky to escape a benefit sanction for hindering your chances to find work.. its likely you will be reported for being a benefit fraudster. This could involve being watched in the street and recorded by DWP officials and having your telephone (perhaps even internet usage these days) intercepted.

As you know, I’ve been active in this area too, in so much as trying to retrieve postings from the old site (Jobseekers Direct) and disseminate them as widely as possible (http://data.gov.uk/apps/ftp-jobcentreplus-feed). This activity is specifically barred from the new site and I’ve stopped (http://blog.zois.co.uk).
Interestingly there are no longer GB Jobcentre jobs on EURES, the pan-European jobs portal too.
I was going to cover the technical aspects of the new site, in a posting of my own, but you seem to have covered all the basis. A link will suffice. It should be noted that both the public Universal Jobmatch sites (Jobsearch and the submission site for employers) are both being served up by Monster, and the servers seem to be physically based in Utah. Jobcentre staff appear to have their own web-based interface to the system http://dwp.monster.co.uk. This is firewalled to the general public. A very comprehensive piece of research. Kudos to you, Martin.

So if anybody gets under pressure round here, from a provider, this should be pointed out.
Oh, and we’re all waiting for November the 27th when the results of these companies ‘work’ come out.
Personally the more I read about Universal Jobmatch the more I dislike it.

Yes Sarah… but IMO the “sustainable job outcomes” are not always sustainable employment any way. (i.e. How is placing someone in a 6 month job, sustainable? When the person is on the dole for the other half of the year?)

Thanks very much, you’ve very neatly summed up at the bottom of your note what not to do and when to do something (ie when you’re threatened). Thankfully your conclusions exactly match my own research. I have Word but not everybody does, or they can only read and not edit, but that’s unimportant, your leaflet is perfect. I can imagine the G4S guy in our small jobcentre reacting pretty damn quickly though if I started handing out notes!

Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing it inside, but if you’re just stood on the street outside I don’t think there’s anything they can really do about it.

You state in your doc that if the staff at JC threaten you with either cutting, suspending or stopping your benefits because of not creating an account on UJM, people should create an account.
I have been threatened for the past 18 months because I have not created an account on UJM, just this morning I was threatened yet again, so I was ordered to the job centre for the purpose of creating an account, I left without creating an account, for I know to create an account is not compulsory or even mandatory so my,your, their benefits can not be cut, suspended or stopped, of course we will all be threatened.
I haven’t yet had my benefits cut, suspended or stopped.

Good for you, but not everyone will have the same experience. Just because your jobcentre staff haven’t sanctioned you, doesn’t mean that other jobcentre staff elsewhere won’t threaten claimants with a Jobseeker’s Direction mandating them to sign up and then sanction them if they don’t comply. I wouldn’t put myself at risk of a sanction by refusing to comply in those circumstances, so it’d be irresponsible for me to encourage other people to.

Here’s a warning to everyone who’ll be in the vicinity of Westminster tomorrow : zip up your protective suits and pull down the visors because there’ll be a deluge of bullshit heading your way when the Work Programme provider’s achievements are finally announced.
You might even need a raft and a paddle – but while the people who commissioned these company’s to achieve so little, the government, might have plenty of rafts on standby they certainly won’t have a paddle between them.
For those people watching on television it will be an extraordinary event. There will be a Minister of the Crown doing his utmost to defend the failings of private organisations. That’s like employing a gas engineer to install a new boiler which immediately explodes due to his bungling workmanship and then telling your neighbour he has to pay for the party wall to be rebuilt – once he gets out of hospital, of course.
Promises of better results in the future will be given. Paramount concerns will be mentioned. Bullshit excuses will follow irrefutable proof that some jobseekers have indeed found work as a result of their time on the work programme. Naturally, there’ll be no mention of the fact that some people got jobs through their own efforts, and often before they had even had any contact whatsoever with the providers, But hey, whatever doesn’t blow up in your face makes providers more worthy of government money.
There should be an honest assessment of why these providers have failed. The question is will the public be given one ? History has shown that severe economic conditions always lead to higher unemployment in any economy. Government ministers will have no misgivings about using this fact as a defence for the failings of work programme providers. As soon as that happens, though, ministers and their mouthpieces at the good ol’ DWP must accept that every jobseeker is trying to find work within the same broken-down economy.
For the providers of these services – or, as I like to call them, corporate scroungers – the Work Programme is a sweet market.

With most browsers you can block cookies from being accepted from particular sites. For example with Opera, you right click on the webpage from a site whose cookies you want blocked, pick “Edit site preferences…”, click the “cookies” tab from the dialog window that appears, check the “Delete new cookies when exiting Opera” and pick the “Never accept cookies” option before clicking the “OK” button. Close the browser and the next time you open it you won’t download any cookies from the site. (You may have to repeat this process on Universal Jobmatch because it seems to redirect you using differing URLs.) You can much the same thing with Firefox. Only trouble is that some of the cookies are navigational and so Universal Jobmatch might not work properly, but at least you’ll not be tracked!

On Sky News this morning in the newspsaper review, Eamon Holmes and Michelle Dewbury highlighted the fact that the Work Programme Private Providers are only are only getting one person in seven into work, Michelle who went to one of these Providers to see what they acually do asked them in a meeting:
What is your ultimate goal?
Their Answer was: To make profit.
So there you have it, proof that their not in it to get anybody jobs.

I’m not particularly computer literate, and I didn’t know there two types of Cookies before reading this. Apparently my Internet Security scans several times a day and deletes Cookies. My question is – does it delete ALL Cookies, especially those from Universal Jobmatch, or do some remain?

Prevention is better than Cure… you can even delete the cookies manually (like at the end of the session) however it doesn’t really solve more than half the problem… each time you visit a page on that website (subdomain) the cookie is read and data collected from it and the scripting on the page.
its likely that multiple sessions can be linked together by other circumstantial facts – IP address, browser string, hostname, etc.
I recommend you to disable/block cookies in your web browser to prevent them… however, means the website wont work if you want to login.

Oh just to add… each time you are logged in as a registered user each cookie created in that session (or before as an “anonymous” user) will be linked to your account.
Also works the other way round… if your cookie is created after you logged out they will link it by your IP address and browser data from when you were logged in.

The site also uses an 1×1 image that is placed empty after the page loads , where other code adds the image url later which is “/Log.ashx […]”.. no images displays… it just the way they track you.

great news & good luck with breaking these tracking cookies!! i have had mi5 on my arses! and been sanctioned for 7years i was released from it only 12 weeks ago then subjected to constant pressures to sign up to UJ i refused it revoked my permissions end results rebanning letter issues from head barristers in london! and i have also been blacklisted on every govt site! there is i thought i was alone until i tripped over this site i am heartened to see so many peoples trying to fight this in their own ways as id quite honestly given up on the UK peoples stomach for revolution or a fight!! against fascist totalitarian systems of governance remember folks that a govt scared of its own peoples = freedom however a peoples scared of its own govt = tyranny!!!
i give huge credit to all the contributors on this site!! as i have found it most useful recently in fighting the \\dwp at national regional & local levels to prevent them from dominating me bullying me into yet more unasked for unvoted for unecessary interferences & impositions with our ordinary human rights which at last count have been breached numerous occasions already by sir ian duncan smith causing him to go and dominate x3 depts of home office lawyers legal gooks to amend his EU courts of justices illegal policy towards the employee rights of this nation!

BREAKING NEWS!!!
It appears Universal Jobmatch may have been hacked. The site went down earlier… and not there are hundreds of ‘dodgy’ jobs… one I accidently came across called ‘qa’ (employer ‘golive12’ and contained an iframe on the page.
This only went to w3schools website… but coudl have been a link to a website with a virus or to steal your data by embedded a form on the Universal Jobmatch website.
The rest of the job advert was this…
I notice they (I assume its a copy of the guidance advice…) advise employers not to include email or web links! So people have to apply through the website?!

Use it no problem, not super fast but more than usable. Another approach is a randomizing VPN, but this costs money. I use both together and run Ghostery and NoScripts etc. I think with what we are seeing with their website is essentially a breach of human rights & data protection act. People need educating and protecting from this madness. Keep up the great work you are doing.

The other day I received an e-mail supposedly from DirectGov. I say supposedly because it was to do with my student loan. I have never had a student loan. As I am self employed I have had a Government Gateway account for quite a while (to file my tax return). On two occasions (one a month ago) I have had to claim JSA (when work was non existent) and have made my claim online. I believe this was an attempt to hack my account as it asked me to log in. The log in page on the website I was directed to was pretty convincing but I didn’t log in as I knew it was bogus. I have told the Job Centre I will not be logging in to my account until I file my tax return next year. After what I have read on here, about Cookies and attempts to hack/crash the Universal Jobmatch site, I think I will continue to visit the Job Centre job points and look in newspapers.

Some stats (from the Reporting information link):-
429,403 total jobs – 85,928 were self-employed (probably by the One Recruitment bastards), 4,381 were zero hour contracts… and 4,200 (exactly) were job vacancies request 100 people…
(all date ranges from Universal Jobmatch open day to today)
Makes you wonder… Who really employs 100 people in one go… in one location for one job type? SCAM!!!

The Number of Jobs currently On Universal Jobmatch is nowhere near that figure of 429403. I think you must have done a search from 16/11/2012 to 28/11/2012 on reports system. That includes all the Jobs on the Old system ( Many of which were very Old indeed, Long expried etc ). Current figure from 19/11/2012 to 28/11/2012 is 162262 Live Jobs via the reports system. Its only high as that as they have been backloading Old jobs on to system since yesterday evening it appears. This is illustrated by Doing same search from 19/11/2012 to 27/11/2012 Live Job Figure is a pitiful 105735 :D.
Im guessing IDS & Mr Hoban is telling DWP to get Number of ‘Jobs’ looking like Old system so they can again spin the ‘There are plenty of Jobs, anyone without a job is workshy that must be punished’ Line 🙂 . So they are loading all the Old rubbish from Old system to make it look like that.

Note the difference ? :D. The Jobs Yesterday figure is clearly bogus as using public reports facilty and asking number new jobs added yesterday ( 28/11/2012) gives 51723 😉 That was upto midnight last night. I know they are backloading while system is live so other jobs getting upto that figure of nearly 100,000 older than 30 Days will have been loaded during today 🙂

If you use reports now from 16/11/2012 to 29/11/2012 you get 468961. Inflated even more as Old Jobs are been loaded with new post dates so are getting counted twice. Once when they were on Old system and counted in figures and again now they are backloading with new post dates 😀

Not all jobseekers are IT-literate though; I’ve been sat in a provider’s office and and had to show the same person over and over again how to get on the jobcentre site (they can’t even open the browser): “I’m OK when I get on, it’s the getting on”) These jobseekers are lambs to the slaughter: staff at a providers will log them on and tell them to “self-sanction”: “If you don’t like the job just click you are not interested in it” (or click these sanction-generating boxes for them).

One of the point used to “sell” Universal Jobmatch is that it is a convenient place to record ALL of your jobsearch, but there isn’t any where to do so; the only “notes” are for applications made through Universal Jobmatch. There is also a “feedback” option where you can request (be mandated to) feedback from an employer; the system records if the feedback has been received, read, and any response (with what appears to be pre-selected responses from “employers”)

If I were you I’d go to the Jobcentre with a printout of that job and see an adviser or even the manager as the Job Bot on the UJM system will have sanctioned you automatically for deleting and not applying to that job.
With the human element taken out the Job Bot on UJM is gonna screw so many people up with sanctions even if it makes no sense to do so.

YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY HERE IN IPSWICH, UNIVERSAL JOBMATCH DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. IT CAN CRASH OUT AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT. THE LIBRARY STAFF ARE AWARE OF THIS AND THEY HAVE [THE LIBRARY] REPORTED THIS TO THE JOBCENTRE. THE JOBCENTRE ADVICE IS THAT, UNTIL THE LIBRARY CAN INSTALL IE8 SO THAT JOBMATCH FUNCTIONS PROPERLY, EITHER USE THE AVAILABLE COMPUTERS [UNDER SUPERVISION] AT THE JOBCENTER OR AT CSV MEDIA. OK, I don’t know how many computers the Jobcentre had for people to use. But surely the library over 2 floors has a bigger pool of computers to use than the Jobcentre, CSV Media and the sole internet cafe in Ipswich combined?
Its been a while since I been to CSV Media but the computers always used to be in use – unless its changed I would say its unlikely to find a computer to use – unless you planned of waiting around all day for one to come free.
Of course the Ipswich library infrastructure (big word, “crap” would suffice) has been neglected. It would cost a fortune to replace them all (even with new low-spec computers) however the Council had been more interested in a nice costly IT contract rather than relying on say a local small business (Penny Lane computers for example.. only one I can think of – well there is another one but its slipped my mind) to provide on call support and over time phase away from the old computers to some new ones…
For example:
Phase 1: Replace the 4 pre-book computers upstairs
Phase 2: Replace the other “upstairs” computers
Phase 3: Replace the “side entrance” downstairs computers
Phase 4: Replace the few computers around the corner downstairs
Phase 5: Replace the “middle” downstairs computers
Or simply leasing them.
The ironic thing is, the computers are so old and had it… replacing them all with low-spec new machines would SAVE with electricity costs.Of course, unless they have changed since I went after the transfer of power. haha

This was brought up – by myself – at a meeting of the Friends of Ipswich Library last night.
The problem is that Browser is out of date as well as the computers and (a lesser difficulty) the cabling in the building.
It’s the Browsers that really count.
The Libraries at present use the Suffolk County service.
Any change of server or anything else will cost money.
My view – which I have expressed – is that this is the real problem.

Yeah it seems they are paying lip service and willing to grind on with the cuts.
I agree its the browsers they need to upgrade but there is the issue of computer spec behind that too… You need a good 512mb – 768mb RAM minimum just for the web browser alone these days.
Cabling could do with replacing but assuming they are only using basic ethernet (10Mbits) instead of fast ethernet (100Mbits – default) or gigabit (1000Mbits) this is fast enough for general web browsing and can be improved further with data compression and content cache (which the latter I think they might already be using anyway).
I think the real problem is contractual exclusivity and no one wanting to (or able to, financially) sign a new multi-million pound contract (or extension) for the next 5 years to provide what needs to be done …and what can easily be done for considerably less (5 figure sum) spread out over a period of time whereby the energy savings would pay off for the new capital expenditure.
What is sad is, just like a new shopping centre… if there was more investment back into the libraries, more people will use them. Furthermore, they could increase revenue gained from people buying additional computer time (i.e. those without computers at home), refreshments, printing/photocopies and donations.

A major improvement would be to enable the computers to take USBs and allow downloads onto them.
Apart from their use in uploading CVs for job applications, these are great for access to free uncopyrighted books and loads of other stuff which I believe can be used on Kindles as well as PCs.

Wasn’t on UJ yet so wasn’t sanctioned. Not a teacher so how could I do the job. Healthcare I need (disabled) not available in Cambodia. No NHS. Unable to hear tone difference in tonal languages. By ‘totty’ do you mean ‘female company of a financially negotiable kind’? Not interested. Not the most ethical either, unless you agree with mass rape of HIV-positive teenagers? Relocation expenses not paid, would need to move all my stuff. All friends etc in UK. They only wanted QUALIFIED teachers. I’m probably not meant to be there anyway at least not as a non-tourist.
Library Solution (by IDS) throw out all the books and burn them. Fill every library with banks of galley-slave-style computers. Bottom row get a bucket, top rows crap on everyone below. Chains fix jobseekers to computer desk. Electric shocks for each row where somebody is too fast/slow. Wheelchair users get the bottom row but they should be used to being crapped on by now. Electric cattle prod for falling asleep. Junk food (meat) once a day.
All jobcentres and libraries open 24/7 powered by 50 new nuclear power stations. People kept there with no sleep till they die. Ex-JCP staff in jackboots whip you when they feel like it. Or shout ‘dole scum’ at you. Or you get sleep but wait to die of old age.
Workfare sent to run nuclear power stations, so sometimes they blow up. Result! Takes thousands off the unemployment figures!

They will have to upgrade their systems to use Windows Vista or Windows 7, Windows Vista will come with I.E.8 and can be upgraded to I.E.9, and Windows 7 should already have I.E.9 installed. If their still using Windows XP or an earlier Windows platform they will only work with I.E.7 or an earlier version of Internet Explorer.

There are other web browsers. Most public computers are set up so any changes made when logged in are lost when logged off, shutdown or restart. Also a layer of security over what files can be run, sites viewed etc. So other browsers can be used without a problem.

Most (if not all) will use IE as they can disable most features with registry keys and group policy – basic parts of the Windows operating system.
Even without disabling most features in an alternative browser… IF:
1) the computer is locked down in terms of no-admin like tools can be used
2) settings/changes are disregarded
3) internet disables non-standard ports, dodgy websites etc.
Then the security is little different.

Anyone noticed the thousands offers of employment on universal job cite that name companies that do not exist and turn out to be distributors of KLEENEZE who then also expect your personal details put in their link along with the fact they want to charge you to start with about 50.00.Kleeneze head office on twitter are aware of the situation. Seems loads of their distributors have used the site to input job offers, which as you probably know no guaranteed income is there going door to door, when there is probably many doing the same areas, therefore not real jobs as their sites state pension top up or second job, yet on universal job cite does not state this. Hence job seekers might be sanctioned for not applying?

Thats my point, a job, to encourage a person to move from benefits needs to guarantee at least the minimum wage. Kleeneze does not do that and any starting out lay sure as hell is not paid for by dwp, so my nag is kleeneze have no right to advertise with the universal job site without stating upfront they are kleeneze with outlay expected.
Vulnerable people are going to end up santioned as to why did they not apply for the job and having to argue the points i make. Alright they may in the end get benefits reinstated, but will have to go without money whilst having to explain some git set up a company name to gather details for what turned out to be kleeneze.
This company stick books through most doors in this country, they mostly always have adverts selling their business as opportunity, is door to door not enough that they feel they need to abuse the universal job site in my opinion.
Kleeneze need to keep control over people who represent their name or are they just interested in the profit.
As for the books most round here put them in the bin due to respect for householders wishes being ignored due to no cold calling or sales at the door being ignored. Kleeneze rep said to me if they respected the door signs they would not have many doors to post through !!!!!!

I am looking for a job and I am not claiming any benefit, but even so, after reading this, I would never submit my CV to this website. They are like Big Brother mutated with George Orwell’s Police system. I think is a breach of human rights. If they suspect someone on benefits is not searching for jobs hard enough they should find other ways to stimulate the lazy ones. I definitely am not going to supply any info on this website even if it means I am waiting more for a job.

my friend is being bussed down to muck out pigs on a cornish farm.x3-4times per week to asess his suitability to work after receiving perm brain damages hes unsure of their end goals or objectives as his cond fluctuates good days bad days etc but now one of the 5 agencies being.paid to triangulate upon him.has gone bankrupt no funds to continue throwing all others into apoplexy scrabbling to.cont the program with.him he was telephoned on the verge of going out the door after many nerve wracking hours of pre meeting interview tensions anxietys before official rdv to attend a mandatory attendance meeting by his agency worker just secs before he was due to leave his home cancelling out his rdv he stayed home As a result as she was reporting herself ill later on he received threats of withdrawal of benefits if he refused to attend any mandatory meetings with his team advisors they refused to acknoeedge accept it was their agy worker who cancelled this mandatory rdv this is a most insensetive sinister ominous way methods of dealing with the already vulnerable confused medically afflicted within our society who do not need the added worry anxiety of persons getting close to them.in order to save the govt a few quid in money!? after asessing them in a medically fiscally biased manner or way for govt other friend of mine attempted to hand a note in at desk to receptions to request a form id submitted back from jcp he got haragued by reception staff jcp and told he was being rude by a g4s guard who then threatened him with police call if he contested the issue!? he had.himself been.subjected to physical attack weeks before he came back from this exp visibly shocked annoyed by his despicable disrespectful treatments what are peoples doing about these daily abusive occurrences going on up n down uk as it is this day in day out treatments that is ruining claimants motivations and govt relations with its citizenry! thankyou
ive been.banned from entering any govt office or facility citywides for past 8years over my uses of a mobi.phone which then escelated to that preposterous proportions anything is now possible under these cyber nazis!?
