A4e threatens legal action *AGAIN*

with 7 comments

Left Foot Forward has published an Internal A4e document on A4e Work Programme Performance, the one we published last week, and upon enquiry, was threatened with legal action!

A4e are now claiming that the A4e Work Programme Performance Data is:-

  • From a confidential and protected, “test website
mya4e.com is their main website is hardly confidential. Wasn’t protected clearly. What do they mean by test website?
  • Snapshot in time already out of date
True, no one mentioned claims that it was live and current. up to January, not March – its disgusting poor performance.
  • Allegation that it was “obtained” from a “password protected, secure site, in breach of confidentiality
There was no password, it wasn’t a secure website (SSL) and we have no legal obligation to observe confidentiality policy when we are not a party to such agreements.
  • The legal threat:- “ We won’t hesitate to take the strongest legal action should you publish this data or make any of the inferences set out
Data is published lets see what happens!

Appears that A4e are up to their typical bullying attitudes. Regardless of A4e’s bullying and threats, the data has been published!

To mark this occasion, we are going to publish a lot of information on A4e this week. We also have a lot of content to publish this week.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised LOL, the thing is they don’t ever go through with it… which is the only reason why they haven’t.

    • If balfour beatty are about then this is just their latest attempt to get around their failed plan to reduce electrical construction wages by 35%.

They are part of a group of the 7 largest firms in england in construction who set about trying to get the original JIB agreement tawn up so they can impose a 35% wage reduction and bring about an unskilled position within the electrical industry.

This is laughable when you consider the education boards say the already existing qualifications in electrical engineering are not good enough and have set about introducing new ones.

On top of this shameful act it has since transpired that this group had held a blacklist on people in the trade who shouldnt be taken on at any of the seven involved. To make matters worse on more than one front, it has also been announced that the police has been found to have been supplying info to this group on any holding criminal records.

Granted this forum is about the unemployed but equally as important is the support of unions and people already in work who are becoming constantly under fire to have their wages lowered and their trade de-skilled.

Electricity isnt a harmless force as all know so un-skilled electrical work should be prevented as it is with gas at all cost.

  3. I wrote ot this PR company and todate they have failed to return a response. NO SURPRIZE.

Untill proved under law A4E and the PR company cannot prove that this info is incorrect and as such are just as liable to the same charge not to mention an abuse of power and position which is a criminal act and not civil.

  4. This data was not confidential and was even available via a google search.

Which Google would testify in court if it came to that.

I am disturbed that a blatant lie was made, and really one would hope they sued, because they would lose, no matter how good their lawyers were.

    A lie is a lie.

  5. OK, so its Friday. Left Foot Forward posted the data on the Monday (of this week) and is yet to see any signs of the “strongest legal action”. It appears as if they are hesitating…
