Emma Harrison has been sacked

with 17 comments

It appears as A4e Emma Harrison CBE has been sacked. According to a statement by Andrew Dutton:-

As a result of Emma Harrison’s resignation, announced on 24 February, she is no longer a Director or Chairman of A4e which means she cannot participate at Board meetings. The governance of A4e has therefore changed with immediate effect and decisions relating to future dividend policy will be determined by the Board under a new, independent non-executive Chairman. In addition, Emma’s salary and payments made by A4e in respect of Thornbridge Hall have ceased.

Not only has Emma Harrison stepped down as Chair and lost her salary (its loose change compared to the dividend payments) it also claimed she has ceased her directorship and A4e having ceased payments to Thornbridge Hall.

This is very concerning as it appears to be done in spite of guilt?

If it is A4e who is guilty of fraud,  being some employees of A4e… and everything above board… why would Emma Harrison have to terminate her directorship? Why would rental of Thornbridge Hall have to cease?

It all appears to be a case of damage limitation, although, as previously stated losing her previous status as a director and Chair doesn’t limit her liability in criminal proceedings. As she is a majority shareholder she is still treated as a “shadow director” at current anyway – and its the position held at the time of the crime.

Although A4e Emma Harrison CBE is the founder of A4e… if it is just another few bad apple employees there is nothing for her to step down about.

Emma… are you going to sell your shares next and break all tie with the company? Or are you planning of setting up another business as we speak to continue welfare to work contracts?

  1. And how long now before Government Ministers are sacked?

In case you have forgotten, it is not only individual welfare-to-work companies that are involved in the workfare controversy, the entire WORK PROGRAMME has been mired in sleaze from the beginning!

Have a look at the following link:

With 90% of charities and companies engaged in the Work Programme forecast to go out of business because they will be unable to meet their impossible targets, the Work Programme is undoubtedly doomed.

Even the very computer system supposed to be in control of the Work Programme is itself lagging behind, leaving the Work Programme open to fraud and error!

As for the future computer control of the Universal Credit? That is an even bigger nightmare – and another story!!

    • Deloitte Ingeus, the group accused of this corrupt relation with the present Minister Grayling, have the contract for this area, which they sub-contract to Papworth.

It seems all they do is take a large wedge of cash for this ‘work’.

Ingeus are raking it in as much as Harrison, so that’s the next sleeze to look at.

      • We cant say corrupt just yet but deloitte and engeus inbed as so to speak is very sus considering what they both do.

The rumour is that they are quitely removing the competition and considering what delottie do, there not doing to bad at it either.

  2. This was done as an extreme measure because A4e are fighting for their lives.

If they are suspended (as I feel they should be as do many many others) they have absolutely no other money coming in to the coffers.

      • Rather odd agreed, but unsurprising, A4e have no expertise in anything, DHP Media are just trying it on.. after all they have to get paid.

Ultimately of course DHP Media are being funded by the Tax payer via A4e.

  3. Don’t we have a treat in store for all you people out there this week!? If you can check for updates twice daily this week. Don’t forget to spread the word also.

Journalists and fellow bloggers please have the decency to cite the initial source (that includes you The Guardian… 2nd Feb we disclose about workfare cleaners… you picked this up, investigated the claim and no where were we (this site) mentioned in the article!)

    • Can sometimes take a couple of days for registry to update.

A4e is likely to take 2 weeks to file it anyhow.

Signup for a WebCHeck account, search for A4e Ltd (don’t click the above link – like directGov the session will expire and you wont be able to access that page, sadly) and click the “Monitor this company” link on the right 🙂

      • I don’t think Emma Harrison and A4e understands the concept of “time”. Terminating her directorship doesn’t change anything in the PAST!
